Bent-over row

Perfect for building strong back muscles

How to do a dumbbell bent-over row:

  1. Stand with a dumbbell in each hand, with a neutral grip.
  2. Hinge forward at the hips, until your torso is roughly parallel with the floor.
  3. Pull the dumbbells up towards your body – retracting the shoulder blades and driving the elbows back just past your torso.
  4. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat.
